Job summary

AMGEN INC is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager in the Southwest with a focus on neurology. You will partner with health systems, infusion centers, and specialty clinics to improve patient access and accelerate time to treatment.

Applicants should bring substantial sales or account-management experience in rare disease or complex healthcare settings, with a strong emphasis on contract negotiations, reimbursement, and site-of-care enablement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with complex provider accounts, specialty clinics, health systems, infusion centers, or similar sites of care.
• Strong understanding of reimbursement and patient access in rare-disease settings.
• Ability to develop account plans and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assess access barriers and develop plans to improve time to diagnosis and treatment.
• Lead contracting opportunities and coordinate approvals for appropriate therapies.
• Optimize buy-and-bill workflows and site readiness across assigned accounts.
• Provide field insights and maintain detailed account plans in required systems.
