Amgen is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager for the Southwest region. The role focuses on reducing time to diagnosis and improving access by partnering with health systems, clinics, infusion centers, and care sites to enable timely therapy and best patient outcomes.

You will diagnose barriers, develop plans, and lead cross-functional collaboration to improve site readiness, billing, and access. Travel will be approximately 40–60% within the territory.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of sales or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree with 4 years of sales or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of sales or related experience.
• Associate’s degree with 10 years of sales or related experience.
• High School diploma with 12 years of sales or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess business environment in assigned accounts to identify barriers to therapy access and reduce time to treatment.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer priorities and portfolio objectives.
• Build stakeholder maps and engage clinical leaders, administrators, pharmacy, finance, and care coordinators.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to optimize contracting, access, and site readiness.
