Amgen SA is seeking a Rare Disease Key Account Manager for the Southwest region to enhance patient access and optimize buy-and-bill workflows. You will partner with physicians, administrators, and infusion sites to improve time to diagnosis and treatment, while advancing portfolio opportunities across healthcare systems.

The role requires strong executive communication, problem solving, and cross-functional leadership across sales, market access, and clinical teams, with travel and field

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• High School diploma/GED and 12 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience

Responsibilities

• Proactively assess access barriers in assigned accounts to identify issues affecting therapy utilization.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer priorities, including portfolio growth and patient access.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, medical, market access, analytics and brand teams.
• Monitor account performance and adapt priorities to achieve objectives in a compliant manner.
