Job summary

Banner Health seeks a motivated Physician Coder with radiology coding experience for a fully remote role. You will code CT, Ultrasounds and other modalities, ensuring accurate ICD/CPT coding and compliance with national guidelines.

Remote work offers flexible scheduling and access to Banner Health resources. The ideal candidate has CPC or equivalent certification in active status and at least 6 months of radiology coding experience, with the ability to work independently in a distributed team

Qualifications

• CPC or higher certification active status required.
• Minimum 6 months coding experience in radiology preferred.
• Ability to code ICD/CPT in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Code radiology services (CT, Ultrasound, all modalities) per guidelines.
• Abstract medical records and assign diagnoses and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG and HCFA rules and regulations.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports as needed.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while working remotely.
