Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with CPC in active status to code radiology procedures (CT, Ultrasound, all modalities) in a fully remote role. Experience preferred, flexibility in schedule and access to support resources across our national team.

The position supports Banner Health’s Coding Ambulatory department with high standards of accuracy, compliance and timely submission of codes. Equipment is provided, with ongoing training and remote collaboration opportunities.

Formación

• Must hold CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA or RHIT in active status with AHIMA or AAPC.
• Six months of professional coding experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience coding radiology (CT, Ultrasound, all modalities) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Code medical records according to ICD-CM and CPT4 guidelines.
• Abstract and document diagnoses, procedures and pertinent information in EMR.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, CMS, OIG, HCFA and internal standards.
