Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder to join our Radiology coding team in a fully remote role across the United States. The ideal candidate will code CT, Ultrasounds, and all radiology modalities, with CPC in active status and 6 months radiology experience.

Remote work flexibility is offered with access to resources and support, ongoing training, and opportunities for internal growth. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ICD/CPT coding and adhere to national coding

Qualifications

• CPC/CCS active certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months radiology coding experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and use coding software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical records and assign ICD/CPT codes for radiology procedures.
• Abstract and document codes accurately in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and CMS/NCCI rules.
• Produce daily/monthly coding-related reports as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify information for accurate coding.
