Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a motivated Physician Coder with radiology coding experience to join our remote Coding Ambulatory team. The role requires CPC in active status and involves coding CT, Ultrasounds and other radiology procedures, with flexible hours and full remote support from Banner Health.

Qualifications

• CPC/CCS/CCS-P/CCA/ CPC-A or RHIA/RHIT active credentials required by AHIMA/AAPC.
• Minimum six months of professional coding experience, preferably in radiology.
• Knowledge of ICD/CPT coding principles and CMS/NCCI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Code medical records per ICD-CM and CPT guidelines for radiology procedures (CT, Ultrasound, etc.).
• Abstract clinical data into EMR and ensure complete and accurate documentation for billing.
• Perform quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and company coding standards.
