Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Physician Coder to join our radiology coding team. The role focuses on CT, Ultrasound, and other modalities, requires CPC in active status, and supports a remote work environment with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active CPC/CCS/CCS-P/etc. certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 6 months radiology coding experience.
• Experience coding CT, Ultrasound and other radiology modalities.

Responsibilities

• Code ICD/CPT for radiology cases per national guidelines.
• Abstract clinical data into EMR and ensure complete records.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OIG, HCFA and company standards.
• Compile daily/monthly reports as assigned.
• Work independently with remote supervision and seek guidance as needed.
