Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Quality & Clinical Transformation Internship for the summer, designed for students pursuing healthcare administration, public health, or related fields. You will work with Quality and Clinical Transformation leaders and cross-functional partners to gain hands-on experience in quality improvement, data analysis, and change management.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, fully remote within approved states.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects focused on improving patient outcomes, safety, care delivery, and operational performance.
• Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
• Participate in project meetings, improvement workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Help document current-state processes, identify gaps, and support development of future-state workflows.
• Research healthcare quality improvement practices and emerging trends to support transformation efforts.
