Job summary

Advocate Health offers a remote Quality & Clinical Transformation Intern role for a May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 internship. The intern will support clinical quality initiatives, data analysis, and change management within a large healthcare system, gaining hands-on exposure to improvement opportunities and end-to-end implementation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
• Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects focused on improving patient outcomes, safety, care delivery, and operational performance.
• Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
• Participate in project meetings, improvement workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Help document current-state processes, identify gaps, and support development of future-state workflows.
• Research healthcare quality improvement practices and emerging trends to support transformation efforts.
