Job summary

Advocate Health offers a Quality & Clinical Transformation Internship focused on improving clinical quality, patient outcomes, safety, and operational effectiveness. You'll work with Quality leaders and cross-functional partners to gain hands-on experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analysis, and change management.

The internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 and is remote for residents in specified states.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, public health, health sciences, business, data analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects focused on patient outcomes, safety, care delivery and operational performance.
Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
Participate in project meetings, improvement workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives.
Help document current-state processes, identify gaps, and support development of future-state workflows.
Research healthcare quality improvement practices and emerging trends to support transformation efforts.
