Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Quality & Clinical Transformation Intern position that focuses on improving clinical quality, patient outcomes, safety, and operational effectiveness. You will work with Quality and Clinical Transformation leaders and cross-functional partners to gain hands-on experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analysis, process improvement, and change management.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, is remote, and pays $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, public health, health sciences, business, data analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects focused on patient outcomes and safety.
• Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
• Participate in meetings and cross-functional initiatives to drive change.
• Document current-state processes and help develop future-state workflows.
• Translate data findings into actionable insights for project teams.
