Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Quality & Clinical Transformation Intern to join our People & Culture Workforce Development team. This remote internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week during Mon-Fri business hours. Remote work is available to residents in IA and other listed states.

You will gain hands-on experience in healthcare quality improvement, data analysis, change management, and project support within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in healthcare administration, public health, health sciences, business, data analytics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Enrollment as a junior or senior at a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Proficient with Excel and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
• Assist with process improvement opportunities and documentation of current-state processes.
• Help develop future-state workflows and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze quality and performance data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visual summaries for leaders and teams.
• Support project planning, meetings, and knowledge sharing materials.
