Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Quality & Clinical Transformation Intern position for a remote, summer internship. The intern will support initiatives to improve patient outcomes, safety, and operational performance, under Quality and Clinical Transformation leaders across the enterprise.

The role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and change management within a large healthcare system, with opportunities to contribute to site-based or enterprise-level efforts.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Demonstrated teamwork, multitasking, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support quality improvement and clinical transformation projects.
• Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in meetings, workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Document current-state processes and help design future-state workflows.
• Research healthcare quality practices and summarize findings.
