Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor, evaluate, and improve operational performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. You will lead audits, analyze performance data, and drive corrective actions in a fully remote role serving US-based contracts.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in QA, strong analytical and reporting skills, and an ability to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 3+ years in QA/quality assurance.
• Experience conducting audits and monitoring to ensure contractual quality standards.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven performance improvement.
• Experience developing, interpreting, and presenting routine and ad hoc performance reports.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits to ensure project quality requirements are met.
• Collaborate in developing and updating procedures when changes occur.
• Analyze reports on operational performance and provide solutions.
• Develop routine and ad hoc performance reports and research issues.
• Conduct monitoring activities and audits to support quality assurance.
• Analyze quality program data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in monitoring performance against contractual requirements using system applications.
• Assist in updating staff resources including knowledge management materials.
• Support staff training to achieve quality program goals.
• Analyze effectiveness of key quality initiatives and improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
