Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to monitor, evaluate, and improve operational performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. You will conduct quality audits, analyze data, and drive corrective actions to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Three or more years in quality assurance, quality control, compliance monitoring, auditing, operations analysis, process improvement, or performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits for the quality assurance program to ensure that quality metric requirements are met.
• Collaborate in developing and updating procedures when changes occur.
• Analyze reports on operational performance and provide solutions to identified issues.
• Develop routine and ad hoc performance reports and research solutions.
• Conduct monitoring activities and audits to support effective project functioning.
• Identify trends and implement corrective action plans as appropriate.
• Assist with monitoring performance against contractual requirements using system applications.
• Assist in producing and updating staff knowledge resources and workflows.
• Train staff to achieve and maintain quality program goals.
• Analyze effectiveness of key initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
