Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Software QA and Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team to ensure high-quality work and service for internal customers. The role is fully remote, or hybrid with regular office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, Oregon.

Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. You will test our custom software for utility-scale construction management, data monitoring, analytics, and reporting, and coordinate with developers

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software QA testing experience.
• Experience writing automated tests in TypeScript or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop expert understanding of our software and integrations.
• Plan and manage testing using Jira and release timelines.
• Create and execute functional, regression, and ad-hoc tests.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to validate features.
• Identify automation opportunities and advocate improvements.
