Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Software QA and Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team. You will test our custom software for utility-scale construction management, data monitoring, analytics, and reporting, while providing frontline support to internal customers.

This fully remote role can be hybrid with regular office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR. You will collaborate with developers, product, and IT to ensure high-quality releases and effective issue triage, with

Qualifications

Experience testing software applications, identifying bugs, and validating features against product requirements.

Responsibilities

Achieve expert understanding of the custom software system features and integrations.
Prioritize and manage testing work independently using Jira and release timelines.
Coordinate functional, regression, negative, and ad-hoc testing with QA teammates.
Write comprehensive test cases for functional coverage.
Identify opportunities to improve testing through automation and AI.
Build self-sufficiency in test environment with Git/GitHub basics.
Serve as first point of contact for support and resolve issues or report bugs with reproducible steps.
