Job summary

Zippy, a remote-first lender focused on manufactured home loans, seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead pre-close and post-close QA across the loan lifecycle. You will coach QA analysts, manage performance, and ensure findings align with policy, procedure, and investor requirements.

The role requires deep subject-matter expertise in end-to-end origination, strong leadership, and ability to translate data into actionable improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mortgage/loan origination experience and related operations.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience including coaching and performance management.
• Experience overseeing pre-close and post-close QA reviews across the loan lifecycle.
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team across pre-close and post-close loan reviews.
• Ensure reviews are accurate, consistently scored, and within service levels.
• Develop training, calibration, mentoring, and development opportunities for QA analysts.
• Escalate material or systemic risks and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain audit-ready records of reviews, findings, disputes, and resolutions.
