Job summary

Zippy, a Dallas-based lender focused on manufactured home loans, is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance. This role leads pre-close and post-close QA across the loan lifecycle, coaching analysts and ensuring timely, accurate reviews that align with policy, regulatory, and investor requirements.

The Manager drives calibration, strengthens controls, and partners with cross-functional teams to reduce repeat findings while maintaining rapid, compliant processing in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mortgage/loan operations experience.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• End-to-end loan origination lifecycle experience.
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team for pre-close and post-close loan reviews.
• Ensure reviews are accurate, consistently scored, and supported by evidence.
• Monitor quality metrics and escalate material or systemic risks.
• Manage daily work queues, priorities, and team capacity across reviews.
• Collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, Credit Risk, and Tech on QA findings.
• Translate QA data into concise insights for managers and leadership.
