Job summary

Zippy is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead the pre-close and post-close QA programs across the loan origination lifecycle. You will manage QA analysts, ensure timely, accurate file reviews, and identify risks before they impact borrowers, regulators, or investors.

You will own calibration, develop staff, and drive improvements to reduce repeat issues while maintaining operational efficiency in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mortgage/consumer lending or related QA roles.
• 3+ years of people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end loan origination processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team for pre-close and post-close loan reviews.
• Ensure reviews are timely, accurate, and supported by evidence.
• Identify policy, regulatory, investor risks and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional QA discussions and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain audit-ready records of findings, disputes, and remediation.
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for leadership.
