Job summary

Zippy, a fully online lender focused on manufactured home loans, seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead pre-close and post-close QA programs. You will guide a team, manage performance, and ensure rigorous QA across the loan origination lifecycle.

The role requires deep mortgage domain knowledge and strong cross‑functional collaboration in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Responsibilities include oversight of QA for all origination stages, escalation of risks, and translating

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mortgage, consumer lending, manufactured housing lending, loan operations, underwriting, QA, or compliance.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience overseeing pre-close and post-close quality reviews preferred.
• Strong investigative and research skills navigating multiple systems.
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a QA team responsible for pre‑close and post‑close loan reviews.
• Manage performance, calibration, and training plans for QA staff.
• Oversee end‑to‑end QA across the loan origination lifecycle.
• Translate QA findings into policy, procedure, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and Credit Risk.
• Communicate QA insights to management and drive remediation actions.
