Job summary

Zippy, a remote‑first lender focused on manufactured housing, seeks a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead pre‑ and post‑close QA across the loan origination lifecycle. You will coach QA analysts, manage workflows, and ensure findings align with policy, regulatory, and investor requirements.

You will translate QA trends into practical improvements, collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, and Operations, and drive throughput while maintaining quality in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in mortgage, consumer lending, manufactured housing lending, loan operations, underwriting, quality assurance, quality control, compliance, or a comparable financial services function
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience, including coaching, performance management, training, workload planning, and employee development
• Experience overseeing both pre‑close and post‑close quality reviews strongly preferred
• Strong investigative and research skills, including navigating multiple systems and documenting conclusions
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of QA professionals responsible for pre‑close and post‑close loan reviews
• Oversee pre‑close and post‑close QA reviews across the full loan origination process
• Monitor QA findings and ensure policy, procedure, regulatory, or investor alignment
• Manage daily work queues, assignments, priorities, and team capacity
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for managers and senior leadership
• Maintain subject matter expertise across the end‑to‑end loan origination process
• Lead cross‑functional QA discussions and remediation progress
• Provide training, calibration, and development opportunities to QA staff
• Build strong relationships with Origination, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, Credit Risk, Technology
