Job summary

Navitus seeks a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Automation to join the Strategic Technology Systems Development team in Salem, Oregon. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing while guiding a team of QA professionals.

This hands-on role (about 70%) combines technical leadership with people mentorship (about 30%), and you will partner with engineering, product, and DevOps to embed automated testing into CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB: Agile Testing or Foundation Level Testing preferred.
• 6+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies and Jira, Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• Experience managing projects and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of quality assurance testers with clear direction.
• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Ensure software products meet high-quality standards through thorough test planning and automated testing.
• Supports multiple Scrum teams/PODs.
• Primarily hands-on role (~70%) with light people leadership (~30%).
• Evaluate QA tools and processes; drive continuous improvements to automation strategy.
• Establish team standards and development guidelines for scalable automation.
• Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD.
• Supervise staff per company policies; coordinate staffing and capacity planning.
• Conduct interviews and hire new staff; provide orientation.
• Represent the team in meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
