Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager to bid, manage, and negotiate all contracts for home renovations. You will oversee purchasing including scopes of work and recruiting contractors/vendors. This is a 100% remote role.

You should have 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder/remodeling company and at least a Bachelor’s degree; Spanish language ability is a plus. The role offers competitive pay and benefits and supports nationwide remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, track project budgets with Field Managers.
• Negotiate the lowest cost possible and source newer products to lower costs and improve quality.
• Partner with senior management to determine spec levels for renovations.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job.
• Manage, train and fire General contractors and subcontractors.
• Constantly recruit new contractors and vendor relationships and ensure proper registrations.
