Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager to bid, manage, and negotiate contracts for home renovations. This fully remote role oversees purchasing scopes, budgets, and contractor recruitment while coordinating with Field Managers to ensure contract compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in purchasing for a major builder/remodeler, strong MS Office skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder/remodeling company.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, track project budgets.
• Negotiate lowest costs and source new products to improve quality and aesthetics.
• Partner with senior management to determine spec levels for renovations.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job.
• Hire, train, supervise, and terminate general contractors and subs.
• Continuously recruit contractors and vendors; ensure proper registrations.
