Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager for bidding, negotiating, and managing contracts for home renovations. You will develop scopes of work, recruit contractors, and oversee purchasing from a remote location.

Requirements include 5+ years in purchasing for a home builder/remodeler, strong MS Office skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Spanish is a plus. This is a fully remote role with nationwide expansion ongoing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder/remodeling company.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Bid, manage contracts, process invoices, track budgets with field managers.
• Negotiate lower costs using national pricing; source new products.
• Work with senior management to set specs for renovations.
• Create detailed scopes of work and budgets for each job.
• Manage, train, and terminate general contractors and subs.
• Recruit new contractors and vendors; verify registrations.
