Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee bidding, contracting, and vendor relations for our renovation portfolio. This role partners with field managers and senior leadership to optimize costs, ensure compliance, and drive value across all projects.

You will develop scopes of work, manage budgets, recruit contractors, and negotiate favorable terms with national vendors while maintaining high quality and timely delivery for a fully remote operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in home building/remodeling.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Spanish language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts including invoices and budgets.
• Negotiate costs with vendors to optimize price and quality.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets for renovations.
• Recruit and manage contractors and verify registrations.
• Collaborate with senior management on specs and procurement strategy.
• Monitor performance to ensure contract compliance and value.
