Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager to bid, manage and negotiate contracts for home renovations, overseeing purchasing scopes of work and contractor recruitment. This role is 100% remote and will support nationwide expansion with competitive pay and bonus potential.

You will collaborate with senior management to set specifications, develop detailed budgets, and manage vendors and contractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder/remodeling company.
• Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office).
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Spanish language skills (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, track project budgets and work with Field Managers to ensure contractors are performing work per the contract.
• Negotiate the lowest cost possible and source newer products to lower costs and improve quality/appearance of renovations.
• Partner with senior management to determine spec levels.
• Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each renovation job.
• Manage, train and fire General contractors and subcontractors.
• Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships, ensuring proper registration before starting jobs.
