Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Software Application Specialist to manage deployment of public safety software across complex ecosystems. Remote work with up to 75% travel across North America to support on-site engagements and project delivery.

The role blends technical deployment know-how with project management, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management to ensure successful implementations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Preferred 3+ years in Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD, Records Management Systems, or Jail Applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain government background clearance and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational assessments and discovery within Public Safety agencies.
• Evaluate processes and tailor Motorola software configurations for efficiency.
• Facilitate business process reengineering and conduct workshops.
• Design and deliver training materials for end-users.
• Coordinate and lead UAT, ensuring requirements are met.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Present analysis results and project updates to leadership.
