Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a Specialty Representative, Psychiatry based in Columbus, OH. This field-based role requires living near the primary city and being able to work remotely as needed.

You will execute brand strategy, manage the territory and accounts, and place the patient at the center while complying with laws and AbbVie’s code of conduct. You will deliver sales performance, build customer relationships, develop call plans, handle objections, and gather market intelligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
• Five years of experience in pharma/health/science with at least three in sales preferred and HS diploma required
• Proven leadership, strong presentation skills and business acumen
• Adaptable to matrix environment; strong selling skills
• Experience with HCIR credentialing and state/city licenses is beneficial

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in field to maximize sales performance
• Develop pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve performance
• Handle objections and close on calls
• Build trusted relationships and meet customer expectations
