Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Provider Data Operations Lead to optimize production workflows and drive KPIs in a remote U.S. setting. You will coach staff, partner with cross-functional teams, and build scalable processes to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Manager, Provider Data Operations, you will lead a distributed team, manage performance, and ensure compliance while advancing continuous improvement across Oscar’s data operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of provider data experience with a health insurance company.
• 1+ year of direct people management experience.
• 1+ year of experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• 1+ years of experience with teams in multiple locations and multiple disciplines.
• Lean Six Sigma or Process Improvement certification.
• Prior healthcare and/or insurance experience.
• Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities.
• 2+ years solving complex inquiries.
• 1+ years managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Hire and manage a team with direct responsibility for performance management and HR tasks.
• Monitor dashboards and KPIs; conduct root-cause analysis and create action plans.
• Make volume-based decisions to serve customers.
• Lead team huddles and align with Oscar’s mission and values.
• Foster an inclusive culture aligned with Oscar’s core values.
• Drive continuous improvement for a high-performing production team.
• Identify and close gaps in operational workflows.
• Collaborate across production and Oscar teams to apply best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
