Job summary

Oscar is seeking an operations leader to coach a team and drive a lean, high-performing operation within the health insurance space. You will partner with department managers to set and achieve KRIs for productivity, client satisfaction, and process improvements.

You will manage team performance, analyze metrics, and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and enable change. The role requires experience in provider data and a strong background in using data to improve processes, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• 2+ years in an operations role supporting production teams.
• 1+ year using data to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
• 3+ years of provider data experience with a health insurance company.
• Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, JIRA, and/or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and motivate a team to support lean operations.
• Partner with department managers to drive objectives and key results for productivity, client satisfaction, and process efficiencies.
• Manage team reporting, identify areas of improvement, and ensure team output meets expectations.
• Evaluate departmental performance by creating and analyzing data metrics and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for change management and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, construct action plans, and maintain KPIs to meet departmental objectives.
