Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management to lead Provider Operations and optimize revenue cycle operations for the Oscar Medical Group. This role focuses on scalable strategies, accurate coding, compliant billing, and timely reimbursement, partnering with clinical, finance, and product teams.

You will report to the Director, Clinical Operations and work in a remote-first setup with potential hybrid elements in metro areas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle, professional billing, coding, or related operations.
• 3+ years of experience leading revenue cycle programs, teams, or functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and performance of OMG's revenue cycle function across professional billing, coding, claims management.
• Serve as SME for CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, and payer requirements.
• Establish and monitor revenue cycle KPIs and controls to improve clean claims and reimbursement.
• Lead coding/documentation integrity strategies including pre/post-bill reviews and provider education.
• Lead denial prevention/resolution initiatives with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Finance, Compliance, Credentialing, and Product to resolve complex issues.
• Develop scalable revenue cycle policies, workflows, and vendor oversight.
• Advise OMG leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities and drive initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
