Job summary

You will analyze market data, participate in salary surveys, and design compensation programs that balance business needs with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of provider compensation experience with analysis and understanding of provider metrics.
• Proven provider compensation consulting experience.
• Experience with provider productivity and compensation benchmark data.
• Experience with the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS).
• Ability to lead complex, long-term projects to completion.
• Strong relationship-building with business leaders and peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, consulting, and implementation of Provider compensation programs.
• Analyze healthcare and financial data to support program management for Provider roles.
• Provide recommendations on compensation models and metrics aligned with business goals.
• Determine market position for total cash compensation with leadership.
• Lead annual salary surveys and present market data to senior leadership.
• Develop templates for Provider compensation by analyzing data and results.
• Respond to inquiries on Provider total cash, incentives, and pay practices.
• Support FMV analyses and present results to OptumHealth leadership.
• Partner with compensation leadership on strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with best practices in compensation within the industry.
