Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EIS) is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and related procurement requests for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and SaaS solutions.

Ideal candidates combine library systems knowledge with strong research, writing, and project management skills to translate complex requirements into customer-focused proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a sales or corporate environment with communications/writing experience.
• 2+ years professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating deliverables across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications, and other procurement documents.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations and implementation approaches.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review through submission with timelines and quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal and other SMEs.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focusing on customer needs and outcomes.
• Maintain reusable content in the RFP response repository and update as products evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
