Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs and related procurement requests for FOLIO and related SaaS solutions.

The role blends library know‑how, research, writing, and project management to translate customer requirements into clear proposals, coordinating across Sales, Product Management, Implementation, and Legal teams. Remote-friendly with onsite hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a sales or comparable corporate environment with proven communications/writing experience.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, potential gaps, clarification questions, and areas requiring subject matter input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, implementation approaches, and related EBSCO solutions to develop complete and accurate proposal responses.
• Coordinate proposal projects from initial review through submission, including requirements analysis, assignments, timelines, stakeholder follow-up, document preparation, and final quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and other subject matter experts to address complex functional and technical requirements.
• Translate technical product information and library systems concepts into clear, concise language focused on customer needs, workflows, and outcomes.
• Maintain reusable FOLIO and library systems content within the RFP response repository by adding new information and updating existing responses as products and capabilities evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, completeness, compliance, grammar, and overall response quality
