Job summary

Fleetio is seeking an Associate Proposals Consultant to own day-to-day drafting and coordination for RFx responses. You will write evaluator-ready answers and gather input from Product, Security, Legal, and Customer Success to scale our response library and workflow.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in proposal management or writing and can work asynchronously in a remote team, delivering high-quality responses on tight deadlines and directly impacting revenue outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of hands-on experience managing or drafting RFx responses for commercial or public sector clients.
• Strong business writing skills: plain English, active voice, specific over generic.
• Experience coordinating input from cross-functional contributors under deadline pressure.
• Detail-oriented mindset to catch numbering, mapping, formatting, and compliance issues before submittal.
• Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with asynchronous communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and coordinate RFx responses (RFI, RFP, security questionnaires) with input from product, security, legal, and customer success.
• Assist Proposals Consultant on strategic opportunities and maintain the response library and workflow.
• Use AI tools to generate first-pass answers, then refine voice, clarity, and win themes.
• Track response outcomes and surface trends to improve pursuit decisions.
