ABB Inc. is seeking a Strategic Segment Proposal Engineer in the United States to develop technically sound and commercially viable proposals for data centers and critical manufacturing facilities.

You will partner with SAMs to drive ITO processes and focus on high-probability, high-profitability projects while leveraging ABB Electrification's product portfolio. This remote role requires deep technical knowledge, extensive experience in sales and quotations, and collaboration with global teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical distribution or related industry; Minimum 5 years of Sales and project quotations experience.
• Deep technical knowledge of ABB electrical distribution product portfolio and configuration tools (ABB empower).
• Experience with EPC, industrial, or data center end users on large scale projects.
• Experience working with global and local cross functional teams and interacting with senior management.
• Ability to leverage a wide variety of electronic tools to stay organized and communicate remotely (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce.com, Teams).
• Ability to travel up to 2-3 times a year.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborating with SAMs and Strategic Customers to understand CTQ factors essential for growth.
• Organizing and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to development of innovative solutions leveraging ABB's portfolio and prioritizing value and profitability.
• Evaluating project risk triggers to ensure alignment with ABB standards and coordinating risk reviews.
