Job summary

Inside Out Hiring is seeking a Property Manager Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for a Los Angeles-based property portfolio, with a remote LATAM arrangement.

You will manage rent collection and delinquency follow-up in AppFolio, coordinate communications among owners, residents, vendors and staff, and help design onboarding and SOPs. You will apply Claude to streamline communications, reporting, and recurring tasks, with limited weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management administration with AppFolio.
• Experience handling rent collection and delinquency follow‑up.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude to support drafting, process documentation, and problem‑solving.
• Ability to build or improve standard operating procedures and workflows independently.
• Willingness to commit to limited weekend hours as part of regular cadence.

Responsibilities

• Rent collection and delinquency follow-up in AppFolio.
• Coordinate communication between owners, residents, vendors and staff.
• Track maintenance requests to completion and confirm resident satisfaction.
• Design onboarding and follow-up communications for residents and owners.
• Create SOPs and workflows to streamline operations and reporting.
• Leverage Claude to draft communications and build simple dashboards.
