Assurant is seeking a technically strong, people-focused P&C Claims Manager to lead a team of claim adjusters through high-quality claim handling, coaching, and ongoing change. You will help associates grow their technical confidence, apply policy accurately, tell the claim story clearly, and deliver consistent service in a fast-moving claims environment.

Qualifications

• P&C adjusters license required.
• Minimum 3 years in property claims.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Experience using Xactimate for property estimates.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and mentor a team of associates handling property and casualty claims.
• Set expectations, monitor productivity and quality, and coach for best behaviors.
• Support technically sound coverage decisions via policy interpretation and documentation.
• Use data and reviews to identify trends and improve team effectiveness.
• Lead through change with evolving workflows and tools.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure timely follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, clients, and other leaders as needed.
• Handle additional duties and development activities as required.
