Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle residential and commercial property claims, including high-exposure cases up to $500,000. You will conduct on-site inspections, gather evidence, and negotiate settlements while delivering Remarkable service.

The role supports a remote-field work model from home with a mobile office/vehicle, serving the Youngstown/Alliance, OH area. A valid driver’s license and physical agility are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently.
• Interact with concerned parties in emotional situations during inspections or resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support claims.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits per policy provisions and guidelines.
