Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner and commercial claims. You will be the first point of contact, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.

Role requires on-site inspections, collaboration with policyholders and agents, and occasional travel within the assigned territory. Remote-field work from home with a mobile office option is available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections for residential and commercial claims.
• Gather information from policyholders, agents, and others to resolve claims quickly.
• Explain coverage and guide policyholders through the claims process.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and conclusions.
• Investigate and adjust property claims up to $500,000 exposure.
• Evaluate coverage accuracy and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate settlements within authorized limits.
