Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately to real-world situations.
• Proficiency with mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims in the field and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for both residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently.
• May interact with parties who express strong emotions or concerns about ongoing inspections or claim resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support the claims handling process.
• Investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits according to policy provisions and standards.
