Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle on-site inspections for homeowners and commercial claims. You will meet with insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with exceptional service.

The role requires physical readiness for field inspections, travel within Denver metro, and the ability to work remotely with a mobile office. Relevant experience and a valid driver's license are essential.

• Proficiency in using mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims.
• Physical agility for climbing roofs, lifting, and moving in diverse environments.
• May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and others to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with involved parties even in emotional situations to move claims forward.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports for claims handling.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims up to $500,000 exposure.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits.
