Job summary

Linda Werner & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager IV with deep expertise in Workday, Payroll, and Leave of Absence to own a high-priority initiative with significant operational impact.

You will coordinate across People Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Time Away, HR Technology, and external partners, manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and blockers, and drive the program toward successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Payroll, HR Technology, HRIS, or related area.
• Hands on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Absence.
• Strong understanding of Payroll processing and Leave of Absence policies and processes.
• Experience supporting HR or Payroll system integrations.
• Proven success managing cross functional projects within a large enterprise.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end project coordination for a critical Leave of Absence and Payroll initiative.
• Bring multiple People Operations, Payroll, Benefits, HR Technology, and partner teams together around shared deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Coordinate integration testing across Workday and related HR and Payroll platforms.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities.
• Identify blockers and proactively drive resolution.
• Maintain clear status reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Support additional Payroll and HR transformation initiatives as capacity allows.
