Job summary

Linda Werner & Associates is seeking a skilled Project Manager IV for a remote, 6-month contract focused on Workday, Payroll, and Leave of Absence processes. You will coordinate across People Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and HR Technology to drive a high-priority initiative with enterprise impact.

The role demands 5+ years in People Operations or HRIS with hands-on Workday expertise, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of leading complex programs in large organizations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Payroll, HR Technology, HRIS, or a related area.
• Hands on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Absence
• Strong understanding of Payroll processing and Leave of Absence policies and processes
• Experience supporting HR or Payroll system integrations
• Proven success managing cross functional projects within a large enterprise
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end project coordination for a critical Leave of Absence and Payroll initiative
• Bring multiple People Operations, Payroll, Benefits, HR Technology, and partner teams together around shared Deliverables
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations
• Coordinate integration testing across Workday and related HR and Payroll platforms
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
• Identify blockers and proactively drive resolution
• Maintain clear status reporting and stakeholder communication
• Support additional Payroll and HR transformation initiatives as capacity allows
