Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end Workday implementation across Payroll, HCM, and Time modules in the United States.

You will coordinate HR, Payroll, Finance, IT teams, manage budgets and risks, and report to executives. The role requires strong communication and proven PM skills in enterprise software projects, with Workday experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading HCM, Payroll, ERP, or enterprise software implementations.
• Experience leading Workday implementation or major Workday enhancements.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, workforce management processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

Required qualifications

• Drive requirements gathering, business process alignment, testing, training, change management, and go-live readiness activities.
• Track implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading HCM, Payroll, ERP, or enterprise software implementations.
• Experience managing Workday implementation or major Workday enhancement projects.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, workforce management, and related business processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience implementing Workday HCM, Payroll, and/or Time Tracking.
• Experience partnering directly with Workday Services or Workday implementation partners.
• PMP, PMI-AC p, or similar project management certification.
• Experience with change management, user adoption, and organizational readiness initiatives.
• Experience working within construction, engineering, or project-based organizations is a plus.
