Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years progressively more responsible related work experience
• Thorough understanding of a research study and its conduct
• High accuracy, attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Demonstrated supervisory ability
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Manage project support team assignments, set deadlines and monitor progress
• Provide direct supervision and professional development for the project support team
• Develop, monitor and track project timelines; identify off-track tasks and alert stakeholders
• Coordinate internal and external meetings logistics and vendor contracts
• Assist the Project Manager with overall management and delegation of tasks
• Ensure compliance with contract and grant specifications and manage expenditures
• Contribute to proposal development and grant writing efforts as requested
• Support the Project Manager in planning and coordination across functional teams
