Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team remotely, preferably in the Central or Eastern time zones. The role centers on project cost accounting, reporting, and coordination with operations and accounting functions to ensure timely, accurate financial information.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting, 7+ years of project accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP, and exposure to ERP systems. CMA/CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
• CMA or CPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project cost accounting and reporting.
• Act as liaison between operations and accounting functions (AP, payroll).
• Review and analyze key performance metrics to support operations management.
